San Francisco's Presidio Trust released its latest food and drink vendor lineup coming to the Presidio Tunnel Tops park this fall — and SFGATE has the sneak peek into all the delicious offerings.

Tunnel Tops, which opened to the public in July, launched a food vendor pop-up program that ran all summer long. The fall lineup includes 17 new vendors and more than 20 returning vendors, all on a rotating schedule scattered throughout the park.

This season's roster kicks off Oct. 1 and includes 17 new food trucks, carts and tents serving a variety of dishes throughout the park that represent some of the best in the Bay Area. New flavors to the list include The Chairman with its sell-out tender, red miso-glazed pork belly served on either steamed or fresh-baked bao; Kabob Trolley, known for its delicious falafel plates with fragrant saffron rice; popular food truck Cochinita joins the ranks with its well sought-after Yucatan barbecue pulled pork, cochinita pibil, which can be stuffed into a quesadilla or enjoyed as tacos on its signature puffy tortillas; there's also homemade Argentinian alfajores from Amapola bakery with creamy dulce de leche centers and offered in unique varieties such as peanut butter and jelly as well as a zesty limonata, white chocolate and classic flavors.

In addition to more than a dozen new food and drink vendors, including Fort Point Beer there are also returning food trucks such as Satay by the Bay, with its wildly popular chicken satay skewers and delectably thick peanut sauce. Authentic India is also making its return on a rotating basis this fall. Owner Jayant Sharma told SFGATE selling at the park over the summer helped them reach new customers and introduce parkgoers to Indian flavors in different ways through best-selling menu items like its tikka masala bowls and curry nachos made with gluten-free, handmade corn chips.

“The tikka masala that we are serving, it's like a very secret family recipe and it has almost like 18 different spices. Those are a mixture of American and Indian spices, and we grind all of our spices with a hand grinder and we use fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger and jalapeños,” Sharma said. “We cook the chicken in a clay oven, but we marinate first for 24 hours, or at least for two days. ... Once you put those chunks of chicken in the curry, it releases all the flavors.”

Another familiar face who will be slinging delightful fall cocktails is Deanna Sison, owner of the Lady Victory mobile bar, which operates out of a sleek 1967 VW bus. Over the summer, Lady Victory was known as the margarita station at the park. Sison told SFGATE that she likes to keep it fun and play with seasonal fruits and spices to create memorable drinks that keep people happily buzzed.

“We’ll do some more seasonal-inspired flavors with a similar base of drinks, so we’ll try out a cranberry margarita, and maybe a maple-bourbon sour, maybe some chai ingredients that evoke some fall flavors,” Sison said. “We might play around with some apple flavors, too, such as a hot-spiced cider.”

According to the Presidio Trust, the Tunnel Tops park welcomed nearly half a million visitors since it opened in July. With nearly 40 food and drink vendors total rotating throughout the park this season, visitors can plan to set up shop with blankets and lawn chairs while enjoying bites and sips with the Golden Gate Bridge as the afternoon's backdrop. Be on the lookout for vendors stationed near the Presidio Visitor Center and Tunnel Tops entrance as well as near the Outpost nature play area bordering Crissy Field, a great location for families and children.
