The annual food and toiletries donation event will return to downtown Ocala next month.

The 10th annual "Harvest House" will return to Ocala City Center Plaza on Friday, December 3rd from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

This event allows local residents and businesses to help those in need during the holiday season by participating in annual donations.

Marion County Commissioner Kathy Bryant (Kathy Bryant) said: "We encourage the community to unite again to help'bring home the harvest' and support the unfortunate residents of Marion County in this special season."

The most needed items this holiday include:

Donations can be delivered in advance throughout Marion County and during the event to be held in Ocala's downtown square on December 3.

Drop off locations include: Public Library, City and County Fire Station, Marion County Solid Waste Recycling Center, Sheriff District Office, Tax Collector's Office, Ocala Police Department, Election Supervisor, Ocala City Hall, Marion County Government And the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Partnership.

The donated items will benefit the Salvation Army, interfaith emergency services and brother guardians.
