After a four-year-run, Pensacola's Egg Witts at 505 Brent Lane has permanently closed.

A South Florida-based Korean steakhouse, Chow Won, is set to take its place and has a projected opening date for early 2023.

Egg Witts owner Daniel Hua started the brunch spot in 2018 at just 19 years old, following in the footsteps of a family of restaurant owners. The menu offered a variety of brunch favorites, from waffles, benedicts and omelets to hot sandwiches. The cause of the restaurant's closure is unknown.

Egg Witts' replacement, Chow Won Korean Steakhouse, is an all-you-can-eat style Korean grill with five other locations spanning the region. The original location, Chow "One" Korean Steakhouse out of Pembroke Pines near Miami, rebranded all its new locations to Chow "Won" Korean Steakhouse.
