St. Stephen’s Bishop’s Church: 199 W. Baltimore Ave., Clifton Heights. Christmas market, December 4th from 9 am to 3 pm Handmade crafts, biscuit walks/baked goods, Raffles, 50/50 opportunities, soups and sandwiches will be available for lunch, and takeaway from 11 am to 2 pm

Norwood United Methodist Church: 315 Chester Pike, Norwood / 610-532-0982. On the "second Sunday" of this month (October to May, not December), we hold free community events. All activities start with a free dinner at 5:30 in the afternoon, followed by a variety of free activities at 6:30 in the afternoon. This "Basket March" lottery will be held on Sunday, December 19. The winner does not need to be present to win. Please come out and help support our little parish. Slavic Christmas/St. Nicholas Luncheon: At noon on December 5th. Menu: Stuffed cabbage; Piero Halushki (cabbage noodles); Kilbass and sauerkraut; ham; homemade dessert drinks. Senior Lift: Invite senior citizens to join our technology learning journey. Senior Lift is also aimed at unemployed and underemployed individuals who need to acquire the technical skills needed in today's workplace. First United Methodist Church: 350 W. State Street, Media, this church is the location of Media Food Bank, which serves 75-100 families every week and is supported by individuals, local churches and local businesses. The Food Bank is open every Thursday from 7pm to 8pm. Open from 10 am to 11 am on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. The church also serves the community through its wardrobe, which is open from 7pm to 8pm on Thursdays and 10am every Saturday – noon. The Transition Town Media Free Store is located at FUMC. It is a donation of used items and collection (free of charge). ) A place where items can be used or reused. First Church offers free yoga classes for beginners every Wednesday at 10 am and Saturday at 9 am. No charge, but donations are welcome.

Middletown Presbyterian Church: 273 South Old Middletown Road, Media. Just GRIT-Youth activities from 7-9pm on Friday night. Use pizza to study the Bible. Adult Bible Study-Wednesday, 9:30-11 noon

Chester Christian Church: 308 W. 3rd St Chester. CCC Café will be open on Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm-come out and enjoy a free hot meal. Zumba is held every Wednesday at 6 pm-come join the fellowship and exercise for free. Turning Point Ministries: 624 E. Eighth St., Chester is collecting food as part of its continuous efforts to build the city. The congregation is willing to pick up any and all donated non-perishable items, which can be stored in the storage room of the church until the time of service arrives.
